The first question to ask of any chart is what range it covers. A move that looks dramatic on an hourly view can be invisible on a yearly one, and vice versa.
The second is volume. Price is what happened; volume is how much agreement stood behind it. Thin markets move easily and reverse just as easily.
The third is what the chart cannot show: the reason. Reporting fills that gap, and the two together are far more useful than either alone.
